Nova Scotia, June 14, Saturday

This morning I flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia so that I could attend a week-long workshop with Leslie Hauck at The Spinners Loft in West Jeddore Bay. West Jeddore is about an hour east of Halifax.

After I checked in to my bed and breakfast, I walked down to the Public Gardens.

A lot of people were out; several weddings had taken place and photographers were photographing the wedding parties and guests. Some boys dressed in dress pants and white shirts chased the ducks.

I wandered around the restaurant and shopping district, visited the Citadel and the Old Town Clock. It was a beautiful but cool afternoon, about 18 Celsius. A nice change from the sweltering weather in Chicago. (Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion here.)
